HBF Iron Man was an AQHA and APHA Gray-Overo, 1996 Stallion who joined us at DeGraff Stables as an out-cross to our Indian Artifacts daughters. At 16-1 hands tall this legendary stallion had amassed a show record that is literally second to none under limited showing conditions. Attesting to HBF Iron Man’s extraordinary physical talent, conformation, quiet nature and wonderful temperament, is the fact that he earned 5 APHA World Championship Titles in 5 attempts.
One of the few stallions that was a multiple World Champion in both Hunter Under Saddle and in Western Pleasure. In 2005, at nine years ‘young’, this great-minded and exceptional moving stallion earned his AQHA ROM in Senior Hunter

Under Saddle in just three short weekends after receiving his AQHA registration. He went on the next weekend to become AQHA World Show Qualified in Senior HUS! A multiple Congress Champion, HBF Iron Man had 5 APHA Superiors and 923 APHA Points in 7 events.

A proven color producer out of AQHA, Thoroughbred and Paint mares, HBF Iron Man’s crops possess the look, the color, the size, the disposition, the movement, and the stride to be great ones. HBF Iron Man, sired an APHA World Champion from his first foal crop has appeared in the Top 10 on all four of the APHA All-Time Leading Sires Lists. Boasting multiple AQHA World and Congress Champions, he sired the first-ever Ranch Horse Pleasure Year End Hi-Point Champion; Lavish Love. Lavish Love REPEATED her High Point RHP the following year! Lavish Love was also Reserve High Point Champion Performance Halter Mares and HBF Silver N Chrome went on to garner the Champion Year End Hi-Point in Open Hunter Under Saddle with others in Top 5 & 10!!

Crossing both AQHA and APHA breeds; A Well Dressed Man, bred and raised by DeGraff Stables is an AQHA and APHA World Champion and a Quarter Horse Congress Champion. The foals of HBF Iron Man compete and win in Open, Amateur and Youth Divisions in Halter, Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Working Hunter, Trail, Showmanship, Horsemanship, Equitation, Dressage and Ranch Horse Pleasure.
